CALVARIO se forma en la Ciudad de Bogotá-Colombia en el año 2003 en ese momento la conformábamos David Patarroyo en la guitarra, Anderson Martínez en la Voz y en la Batería Juan Carlos Duque y tuvimos 2 bajistas vicent y pablo que pasaron por este tiempo,  sacamos el single "Dimensión de Muerte"  en el año 2006.

En el 2008 David Patarroyo asumió las riendas del proyecto y tomo las voces y comenzó con una nueva alineación: David Patarroyo (David Agressor) voz- Guitarra, Royman Ballesteros (Incinerator) Bateria y Juan Ruiz (Sisbura) en el bajo sacamos el EP "Desolation Cults" 2010 grabado mezclado y masterizado en Faxter Studios por el Ingeniero de sonido Hernando puentes actual "Audio Room" tocamos en varias partes de Colombia con bandas del país y suramericanas y a la vez realizamos un Tour "Desolation Cults" por Venezuela en el año 2012.

En el año 2013 comienza un nuevo capitulo para la banda en posicionar un sonido mas crudo y contundente y se comienza con un proceso de composición donde David patarroyo fundador, compositor y representante de la agrupación conforma una nueva alineación con el reconocido baterista y productor musical de la escena nacional y latinoamericana Sander Bermudez y el bajista Mauricio Castro después de un trabajo arduo lanzamos el Full Leight "Malevolent Invention" grabado, mezclado, masterizado por Sander Bermudez "Soundtech studios" junto con el video clip oficial "Demolition" en el año 2015 realizado por "Insight Producción y Diseño" junto con David Patarroyo y el disco fue distribuido por el reconocido sello chileno "Rotten Cemetery".

En el año 2018 se conforma una nueva alineación: David Patarroyo Agressor Voz-Guitarra, Magus Batería  Torture Bass Bajo y Juan David Galeano guitarra conformando un sonido mas contundente con dos guitarras ya que anteriormente solo se trabajaba con una guitarra en la banda, en el año 2019 realizamos un tour por México "xv years of devastation" donde nuestra música tuvo muy buena acogida de lo cual nos motiva para seguir trabajando.

hemos sido banda soporte de bandas internacionales como: MORGOTH-Alemania, DIVIDE-Alemania, BRODEQUIN-Usa, BLOODSOAKED-Usa en el tour de México GORE-Perú, GASTRORREXIS-Ecuador, INFERIA-Finlandia, VISCERAL SLAUGHTHER-Brasil, PUTRID PILE entre otros festivales nacionales.

En este año 2020 lanzamos el full Ep "Extermination to this plague" Grabado por Miguel Ramirez el bajista de la banda y mezclado y masterizado en SoundTech Studios por Sander Bermudez y  con el apoyo del reconocido sello colombiano "Mutilated Records" va ser distribuido a nivel nacional e internacional; Estamos organizado nuevas presentaciones entre esas fuimos clasificados para tocar en el "Festival de las montañas de Ciudad Bolivar"

Participamos en el programa del canal trece de Bogotá Resonantes extremo entre  otros shows,  y  continuamos trabajando en nuevas composiciones para un nuevo álbum.

In 2013 a new chapter begins for the band to position a more raw and forceful sound and it begins with a composition process where David Patarroyo, founder, composer and representative of the group, forms a new lineup with the renowned drummer and music producer of the national and latin american scene Sander Bermudez and bassist Mauricio Castro after hard work we released the Full Leight "Malevolent Invention" recorded, mixed, mastered by Sander Bermudez "Soundtech studios" along with the official video clip "Demolition" in 2015 made by "Insight Production and Design" together with David Patarroyo and the album was distributed by the renowned Chilean label "Rotten Cemetery".
In 2018 a new line-up was formed: David Patarroyo Voz-Guitarra, Mario Gonzalez Bateria Miguel Ramirez Bajo and Juan David Galeano guitar making up a more forceful sound with two guitars since previously only one guitar was worked in the band, in the year 2019 we made a tour of Mexico "xv years of devastation" where our music was very well received which motivates us to continue working.
We have been a support band for international bands such as: MORGOTH-Germany, DIVIDE-Germany, BRODEQUIN-Usa, BLOODSOAKED-Usa on the tour of Mexico GORE-Peru, GASTRORREXIS-Ecuador, INFERIA-Finland, VISCERAL SLAUGHTHER-Brazil, among other national festivals .
